Cure hairloss in women [STAGES,CAUSES, SIGNS & TREATMENT]

Female pattern hair loss is a slowly progressing hair loss seen in women. As it is quite less talked about when compared to men, female hair loss cure needs to be discussed more often. In this Kind of hair loss, there is a very slowly progressive thinning of hair, where you start noticing that your scalp becomes visible, the area in which you part your hair, the partition becomes wider and it affects mainly at the top of the scalp. As the affected area is quite visible, the female hair loss cure becomes very important. You may have an intact hairline but the top area of the head is thinned out.

It affects about 12% of women in the age group of 20 to 30 years, but above the age of 70 years, it can affect up to 60% of women. It usually occurs, after 18 years of age, but in severe cases where there is a strong genetic predisposition, it can be seen, even at the age of about 12 to 14 years, statistically, the major age group is between 25 to 40 years. Lastly, it can also affect a lot of women between 50 to 60 years of age. As you can see no age group is spared.

 Causes :-

It is thought to be due to multiple factors so the causation is multifactorial, there can be a genetic predisposition or some hormonal imbalances which may cause this disorder, and also certain environmental factors have been implicated. This disorder usually runs in the family, so if your mother and sister have thin hair and thinning off hair then there's a high chance that even you can develop it. With females who have a genetic predisposition to develop this hair loss, it has been found that there is an alteration in the hair cycle.

Stages :-

It usually starts with thinning of hair from the area you part your hair, and even in the frontal area. It is more prominent when the hair is wet or on the second day of washing the hair and when the scalp is slightly oily, the scalp tends to be more visible.

This alteration in the hair cycle occurs in the anagen phase. What happens in the anagen phase, the Anagen phase, which is the growing phase gets shortened, and there is a premature termination of this phase. Anagen phase usually lasts for about two to six years normally, but in females suffering from Alopecia, this phase lasts for just about six to eight months. So the hair that grows is thin or is shorter, dull in color and fails to grow to its full length.

This is why you will start noticing the thinning of hair. The age of onset, how will it progress, the pattern of hair loss to severity, the area that will be effected i.e. a small area or the entire scalp, all this is determined by genetics. So, it is very difficult to predict how you're going to progress. Most of the females will only show thinning in the parietal area or slight thinning in the frontal area and widening of the partition margin, but in some cases, an extensive hair loss involving the entire top area of the scalp has also been observed. Other than genetics, even hormones have been implicated in female pattern hair loss. So testosterone dihydrotestosterone levels are found to be increased in certain women, it's not proven always but in certain cases it is found that androgen levels are high and even estragon level is low. So that could be one of the reasons why this hair loss is seen in postmenopausal women when there is a sudden decrease in the estragon level.

Types of female pattern hair-loss :-

Scarring alopecia and non-scarring alopecia. Scarring alopecia means that there is the destruction of the roots of the hair. So then the overlying skin also appears different. And there's very little chance of recovery of the hair follicles.

In non-scarring alopecia, what happens is that there is a temporary loss of hair, or thinning out of hair, there's no complete loss of the roots. In non-scarring alopecia, where there is not a complete loss to the hair follicles but the thinning is to such an extent that they are barely visible. This hair loss progresses slowly, there is a reduction in the size of the hair follicle, it mainly involves the frontal part and the top area. Hence the hairline is usually intact in this hair loss.

Female hair-loss cure:-

The most widely use lotion is minoxidil, as it improves blood flow to the scalp and therefore can improve the hair growth to a certain extent. During this phase be very gentle with your hair. Avoid wearing a hairstyle, which pulls or tugs your hair like a tight ponytail or high ponytail.
Go for any loose hairstyle, also avoid vigorous brushing of the hair and be gentle when your hair is wet. A lot of people worry that shampooing the hair regularly could be damaging the hair but it’s a myth.

Shampoo your hair at least two to three times in a week to keep the scalp clean. If you are working out, make sure your scalp remains clean. The regular shampoo will ensure a clean scalp. The truth is just by avoiding shampoo you are not going to stop your hair loss, at the same time shampooing your hair is not going to increase your hair fall. Biotin supplements also help with the hair growth. Lastly, always consult a physician for charting out a fighting strategy in addition to gaining knowledge.

Grey Hair? [CAUSES & REMEDY] Can hair greying be reversed?

Are you worried that grey hair is making you look older than you are? Can hair greying be reversed is one of the frequent questions that pop up in your head? Well, gaining knowledge about the causation can equip you with the weapons to tackle it. And yes, to some extent it can be fought. But what is the average age that men start getting grey hair? Caucasians mostly go grey in their mid-40s, Asians in their late 50s  and Africans in their late 40s. But why people go grey early in life, as opposed to later is largely thought to be due to genetics, as well as some environmental influences. Grey hair occurs as a result of the loss of pigment production in the hair by Melanocytes . Melanocytes produced by hair follicles are responsible for the color of your hair. When the production of Melanocytes reduces, the natural color of the hair starts wearing off and slowly turns grey. Pigment production in our hair coincides with specific phases of the hair cycle, unlike in our s...
